About the Art
Senil Neves uses three pieces–“Bedlam” “Grasp” and “Florish”–to illustrate a cycle of human emotion.
We love the way this work compliments its counterparts in the triptych, creating a sense of balance while still depicting hectic emotion.
This piece can easily stand on its own but we are partial to a triptych, so we suggest hanging this one with “Grasp” and “Florish”!
About the artist
Senil Neves
Indiana-born artist Senil Neves works out of Los Angeles and is largely self-taught. She began painting, however, as a young child and continued growing her talent during her studies through her older years. Her portfolio is full of paintings, mixed media collages and a vast collection of traditional inks on paper. Senil’s paintings speak with abstract watercolors that bleed together to create both subtle imagery and enticing emotion, speaking of life’s ups and downs, endless love and the need for guided faith.
At times I have looked at things in life and thought they were simplistic, structural, and binary. And then moments when I felt blinded by colors and full of love and movement. There are two sides to everything, however the goal is to create a balance.
