About the Artist
Sara Sadev
Artist Sara Sadev grew up in a household where art and creativity were encouraged and embraced, but only during the COVID lockdown did she rediscover her own artistic practice. Working primarily in gouache on paper, she uses its intense, opaque colors as a conduit through which she can share her own personal journey, expressing emotions through a playful exploration of vivid hues and geometric proportion. She credits artists like Paul Klee and Victor Vasarely as sources of inspiration, especially in her use of color and she endeavors to spark joy in the lives of her collectors, particularly in times of strife and turmoil.“My paintings pay homage to flowers and plants. I paint them abstractly and create imaginative works as I see them through my lens.”
