About the Art
What the artist saysThe text drawings are "misreadings" of texts encountered in everyday life, like news headlines or signage, made unsettling and sometimes poignant by isolating them from their original source.
Why we like itJanna repurposes the context of her copy into authentic, visual assemblages that make us rethink our very language.
Where we hang itJanna’s text works are conversation starters: hang them anywhere your visitors can see and engage with them.
