French artist Marina Kokush studied fine arts in Paris and Los Angeles, developing a sculptural practice centered on the expressive potential of the female form. Her works celebrate the body's strength, beauty and movement while exploring themes of identity, transformation and creation. The human figure serves not only as a subject for her, but as a universal language through which deeply personal and shared experiences are communicated.

Working primarily in clay, she is drawn to the material's tactile qualities and symbolic capacity for transformation. Beginning as a soft, malleable medium, clay passes through stages of fragility before being permanently strengthened through fire, a process that mirrors the resilience and evolution of the human experience. This dialogue between material and meaning lies at the heart of her practice. Each sculpture is entirely hand-built, resulting in unique works that retain the energy of the artist's touch. Rather than pursuing perfection, Kokush embraces asymmetry, exaggerated proportions and raw textures to reveal the authenticity of the human condition.
