About the Art
What the artist saysI’m drawn to seeing the richness of color, beauty and humor in everyday life. It could be a certain quality of light, a feeling of deep connection or a striking composition that inspires me to explore and experiment further to reveal a deeper layer.
Why we like itWe love the raw, tactile intimacy of Annette’s medium. The texture of her materials captures gesture and emotion with immediacy, rendering the vulnerability of the human form in a soft, expressive palette.
Where we hang itThis work is both intimate and powerful. Hang it above an entryway console or at the end of a hallway as an instant focal point.
